Antfield House Dores

If you're interested in a holiday or weekend break within a couple of miles of Loch Ness yet only a 10 minute drive to Inverness, Antfield House Bed and Breakfast is the perfect choice. Here we will do all we can to ensure you have a pleasant stay in one of our spacious rooms. Each room, which has been recently redecorated, has either its own en-suite shower room and wc or a private bathroom with wc. Antfield House, which is located in a mature woodland in a beautiful setting, offers visitors peace and tranquillity. Local attractions include the small and friendly village of Dores, panoramic views of Loch Ness from its northern tip and excellent walking and cycling with varying degrees of difficulty. The Highlands in one direction and the coastline of Cromarty Firth in the other make Antfield House a superb base for those who wish to travel a little further afield in order to explore the area. Meals (daytime and evening) can be obtained in the Dores Inn (2 miles away) but would advise to book in advance as very popular or you can eat in the many bars and restaurants in the city of Inverness.

Inverness - Road: Travelling North to Inverness Continue on the A9 North. Entering Inverness A9 Branch left (signposted Hilton, Culduthel), then merge onto the B8082 continue on this road until you reach the Holm roundabout and take the 1st exit onto the B862 (signposted Fort Augustus, Dores) Continue on this road for 5 miles PLEASE IGNORE SAT NAV-GPS AS THIS IS THE WRONG TURNING KEEP ON THE B862 UNTIL YOU SEE SIGN ON LEFT ANTFIELD HOUSE, TURN LEFT continue down a farmtrack. ANTFIELD HOUSE IS ON THE RIGHT.
